The strengths of land projects of Madrid Region
The land as a fundamental factor of location in the economic-social development of the Region; with good infrastructure network and connectivity; with technological infrastructure, provisions and equipment; as well as high environmental quality. The Regional Government will show in MIPIM a new project: “Logistic Center” in Arganda del Rey: 10 Plots (1,1 MM m2 buildable) close to A-3.
The Madrid Region Delegation will be led by the Deputy Minister of Environment, Local Government and Planning; as well as by the managerial staff of “Invest in Madrid”, assigned to the ministry of Economy and Finance. Coordination and logistic support for the Regional Delegation will be carried out by members of the public company “Obras de Madrid, Gestión de Obras e Infraestructuras”. Madrid Region will have in the Spanish Cluster 37,5 m2 of a cover and open tent, and 22,5 m2 of terrace.
What will Madrid Region show at Spanish Cluster
Madrid Region exhibits the offer of public developed land. The land as a fundamental factor of location in the economic-social development of the Region; with good infrastructure network and connectivity; with technological infrastructure, provisions and equipment; as well as high environmental quality. The plots within this offer, whose urbanization is finished or in advance degree of development, have the following uses: Logistic Parks; Industrial; Technological Parks; Business and commercial Parks and Residential Areas.
In the stand there will be the “Portal de Suelo”: an easy device that operates as a digital data base or “Portfolio” of all plots that Madrid Region and its management entities provide, with graphic description of their location, surfaces, applications and buildable areas. Either projects developed through Direct Management or Indirect Management: this one through Compensation Board and Urbanistic Consortiums.
A bilingual APP -Spanish/English- for mobile devices (IOS and Android).- Through this “Digital Pad” the visitor will make a flexible navigation, with a “search menu” to choose the developed land projects he wants, among those exhibited in the Spanish Cluster. All of them enclose complete information in their Data Tables and their most relevant parameters mentioned before.
A “Landing Page” (Web) SpainAtMipim as a “microsite” where all the related projects and events of Madrid Region will be gathered; and complemented with a Twitter account: “SpainatMipim, it will publish news related with the participation of Madrid Region and the activities of its representatives at MIPIM 2018. This is an usual tool among the participant regions and cities. This supply is reinforced with the international communication campaign, carried out by the Regional Government for almost two years on the “think tank” called #THINKINMADRID.
International investors
In particular Madrid Region launch at MIPIM 2018 the offer of urbanized plots available, herein related. This offer consists of the plots included in the “Portal de Suelo”; as well as plots managed through Obras de Madrid, Gestión de Obras e Infraestructuras, projects of its own management, as well as those managed through Urbanistic Consortiums shared by Madrid Region.
There are 24 plots of Subdirección General de Suelo Comunidad de Madrid in various urban areas, and the plots managed by the public Company Obras de Madrid, Gestión de Obras e Infraestructuras, in the following urban areas:

- Arroyo Culebro Linear Park PP.4 y PP.5, in Getafe and Leganés
- Logistic Center in Arganda del Rey; Technological Park Tecnogetafe

- Residential Area Los Molinos- Buenavista, in Getafe

The Regional Government objective is to show the strengths of the Region and of the land supplied, as causes to enhance the foreign investment, such as: Location on the facade of the main highways of the region; Infrastructure and development of high quality and technology; Balanced of uses in each area; Connectivity for both access and connections with the various transport networks; Rules over the standards of bioclimatic architecture and environmental sustainability. And finally, very competitive prices in relation to other european metropolitan areas.
Madrid Region will carry out its presentation on Wednesday, March 14, at 16.30 hours in the Spanish Cluster with the motto: “The strengths of land projects of Madrid Region. Location. Connectivity. Technological infrastructures. Sustainable environment and competitiveness”. This presentation will be borne by the Deputy Minister of Environment, Local Government and Planning, Pablo Altozano, that will display the general characteristics of the supply of developed land in Madrid Region, included in the “Portal de Suelo”; as well as the strengths of some of their projects, for example the “Logistic Center” in Arganda del Rey .
On the one hand, at Spanish Cluster are the Region of Murcia and the Town Hall of Málaga, and on the other hand, ICEX, Gesvalt and Sareb. The private business sector involves this year 29 private exhibitors, against 22 of 2017, and include real estate agents; companies Servicers Real Estate and Project Management; architecture studies; Advisory legal and financial; as well as postgraduate schools specialised in Real Estate.
