One of our major projects due to open in December is the highly anticipated Mall of Qatar, a 450,000sqm shopping centre that will provide visitors with over 100 restaurants, 500 stores and a Cinemacity complex consisting of 19 screens including the largest IMAX laser 3D in the world. Already operating across diverse geographies, the company always remains on the lookout for new and exciting markets. As Iran’s economy starts to emerge following the removal of economic sanctions, reports suggest that it has the potential to surpass Turkey and Saudi Arabia in terms of GDP within a decade. “There is huge demand for higher quality shopping locations, housing, offices and hotels and already we are working at the early design stages of a number of large mixed-use projects with local deve-lopers in Iran”.
